Northern white rhino
A high quality, signed A4 print of my northern white rhino pen drawing, ready to be framed and hung in the perfect spot in your home.
For every Endangered print sold, a tree will be planted in the Albertine Rift forests of Uganda as part of a wildlife habitat restoration project in partnership with the Jane Goodall Institute.
Rhino horn, which is made of the same biological material as human hair and fingernails, is still used in traditional Asian medicine - even though, of course, it hasn't been shown to have any medicinal properties. The motives of people buying rhino horn are more to do with social status than medicinal benefit. Owning rhino horn or gifting it to friends and colleagues boosts the social status of these educated, 'successful' people.
The best way to help rhinos is to give them a voice, and human behaviour change projects are underway with the sole aim of altering harmful views around rhino horn and tackling this issue that continues to threaten all five species of rhinoceros.
This listing is for the print only; it does not include a mount or frame.
Your print will be protected by a sheet of greyboard and packaged in compostable film.
