Arguably the most striking animal we share our planet with, the tiger is an iconic species with a crucial role in ecosystems. As apex predators, tigers regulate prey populations and help maintain the balance of the whole food chain.

Despite their powerful status, tigers are endangered. Habitat loss and fragmentation have diminished their once vast territories and poaching for their skin, bones and other body parts (fuelled by the illegal wildlife trade) continues to threaten the species’ survival. The demand for tiger products is driven by the traditional medicine and luxury goods markets, and it is decimating tiger populations.

Conservation projects are protecting and restoring tiger habitats, including developing wildlife corridors to help reconnect areas of remaining habitat.

Anti-poaching efforts and stricter enforcement of laws against the illegal trade of wildlife products are critical if the species is to survive. Organisations like TRAFFIC are leading the way there, with initiatives combatting the illegal wildlife trade from every direction, including research into the problems and advocating to reduce demand and push sustainable alternatives.

We are very environmentally conscious and aim to keep the carbon footprint of the business to an absolute minimum. All Wild Lines greetings cards and stationery products are as sustainable as possible. The cards, notebooks and advent colouring books are made of recycled paper.

Because of the quality necessary for art prints, they are not printed on recycled paper. The paper is, however, FSC certified as sustainably sourced. We hope the art prints will have long lives in their new homes before, one day (in the faraway future!), being recycled.

The art prints are packaged with recycled backboards in compostable sleeves. We post all products in hard-backed envelopes. From the tape to stuffing, all of the packaging is also fully recyclable (and recycled where possible).

The price includes eco-friendly packaging and free Second Class postage to UK addresses. There is an option to pay a little extra and upgrade to First Class postage at check out if you need your products sooner.

All orders will be shipped within three working days.

International orders will be posted with Royal Mail International Standard Delivery and the delivery cost will be calculated at check-out. Unfortunately there is no tracking option with this service.

Please note that if you live outside the UK, you might be required to pay taxes when the parcel arrives; these taxes are not included in the price.
