Capybara Art Print - White

Capybaras are the world’s largest rodents, easily recognisable by their barrel-shaped bodies, webbed feet, and gentle expressions. Native to South America, they are highly social animals, often found in groups lounging near rivers, lakes, and wetlands. Excellent swimmers, capybaras can even sleep underwater with just their noses poking out to breathe.

These peaceful herbivores play a vital role in their ecosystems, grazing on grasses and aquatic plants, which helps maintain healthy wetland environments. Their presence supports a diverse array of wildlife, from birds to fish, making them an important species for ecosystem balance.

Fortunately, capybaras are currently listed as Least Concern, but they still face localized threats. Habitat loss due to agriculture and urban expansion, hunting for their meat and hides, and water pollution can all impact capybara populations. Protecting wetlands and promoting sustainable land use are key to ensuring their continued survival.

We are very environmentally conscious and aim to keep the carbon footprint of the business to an absolute minimum. All Wild Lines greetings cards and stationery products are as sustainable as possible. The cards, notebooks and advent colouring books are made of recycled paper.

Because of the quality necessary for art prints, they are not printed on recycled paper. The paper is, however, FSC certified as sustainably sourced. We hope the art prints will have long lives in their new homes before, one day (in the faraway future!), being recycled.

The art prints are packaged with recycled backboards in compostable sleeves. We post all products in hard-backed envelopes. From the tape to stuffing, all of the packaging is also fully recyclable (and recycled where possible).

The price includes eco-friendly packaging and free Second Class postage to UK addresses. There is an option to pay a little extra and upgrade to First Class postage at check out if you need your products sooner.

All orders will be shipped within three working days.

International orders will be posted with Royal Mail International Standard Delivery and the delivery cost will be calculated at check-out. Unfortunately there is no tracking option with this service.

Please note that if you live outside the UK, you might be required to pay taxes when the parcel arrives; these taxes are not included in the price.
