Introducing the 2025 Wildlife Calendar

We’re thrilled to announce the arrival of our brand-new 2025 Wildlife Art Wall Calendar! This year, we’ve gone for a fresh design: a square wall calendar made entirely from recycled paper, featuring 13 stunning pieces of wildlife artwork. With a focus on sustainability and style, this eco-friendly calendar is perfect for anyone who loves wildlife and appreciates beautiful, hand-drawn art.

Whether you're adding a decorative piece to your home or searching for the perfect gift for an animal lover, the 2025 Wildlife Calendar is more than just a practical tool - it’s a work of art that captures the beauty and diversity of the animal kingdom.

A fresh look: New design for 2025

This year, we’ve made a few exciting changes to the calendar. The new square design gives each animal artwork pride of place, with a full page dedicated solely to the featured animal. The corresponding monthly grid is displayed on the page below, allowing the artwork to take center stage. This format not only highlights the detailed illustrations but also adds a touch of elegance to your wall.

The month-to-view calendar format has a blank dated grid for each month. We’ve opted not to include holidays or special dates, giving you the freedom to personalise each month as you see fit. Each month also features a small preview of the following month for easy reference, along with the name and conservation status of the featured animal.

What animals feature in the 2025 calendar?

The adorable brown-throated sloth takes the cover position this year - because who doesn't have a soft spot for these gentle creatures? Inside, you will find 13 different wild animals - that's one for every month, plus a bonus meerkat on the last page, which shows a 2026 year-to-view calendar.

Each illustration captures the animal’s unique character and beauty, helping to raise awareness of both well-known species like the African lion and more endangered or lesser-known animals like the Livingstone's fruit bat and Cayman blue iguana.

The animals include: capybaras, tiger, African elephant, dyeing dart frog, brown-throated sloth, Cayman blue iguana, African painted dog, red panda, bush dog, African lion, Livingstone's fruit bat and ring-tailed lemur.

The eco-friendly 2025 wildlife art wall calendar

Eco-friendly calendar credentials

At Wild Lines, sustainability is at the core of everything we do, and our 2025 wildlife calendar is no exception. The entire calendar is printed on recycled paper, and it’s bound together using simple staples with a convenient drill hole for hanging.

We’ve eliminated plastic packaging entirely - you won’t find any unnecessary cellophane wrapping here. Your calendar will arrive naked, protected by recyclable paper-based packaging. All our packaging is as environmentally-friendly as possible, from the recyclable stuffing to the plastic-free tape.

Our commitment to eco-friendliness extends to the end of the calendar's life as well. Once the year is over, the calendar can be easily recycled, reducing waste and minimising environmental impact. It’s the perfect product for anyone who still loves having a physical calendar to organise their time, but values sustainable living and wants to minimise their footprint.

The perfect gift for wildlife lovers

The 2025 Wildlife Calendar isn’t just a functional tool - it’s the perfect gift for wildlife enthusiasts, animal lovers, and conservation advocates. Each month showcases a different, hand-drawn piece of wildlife art that brings the beauty of the natural world into your home or office.

For those who appreciate the finer details, the illustrations were created using thousands of tiny lines (or in the case of the elephant, iguana, and dart frog, dots!) using pen and ink on paper. The combination of meticulous technique and vibrant colourful backgrounds will brighten up any space, whether it's a kitchen, home office or classroom.

This calendar is also a thoughtful choice for those committed to eco-friendly gifts this holiday season. It’s an ideal sustainable Secret Santa gift. With its timeless appeal, this wildlife art calendar is sure to start conversations, spark smiles, and serve as a daily reminder of the beauty and importance of wildlife conservation.

Why we think calendars are still valuable

In an increasingly digital world, some may question whether paper products like greeting cards and calendars still have a place in our lives. It’s true that calendars can be considered disposable. But at Wild Lines, we believe that these seemingly fleeting products still hold immense value - and when made responsibly, they can fit into a sustainable lifestyle.

First, there’s the emotional connection that comes with physical items like calendars. A beautifully illustrated calendar isn’t just a way to keep track of your schedule - it’s also a piece of art that brings joy every time you look at it. It reminds us of the natural world, offers inspiration, and brings a sense of nature and personality to any space.

When we choose eco-friendly materials, the environmental cost of producing these items is significantly reduced. If you find it useful having a physical calendar (or are gifting it to somebody who does!), then why not choose a more sustainable option? By using recycled materials and keeping our packaging recyclable and plastic-free, we ensure that the environmental impact remains as low as possible.

There is a bonus educational element to the Wild Lines wall calendar. Thanks to the inclusion of the species' conservation status, users are reminded every month of the fragility of our ecosystems. They might even be introduced to a new species that they didn't know existed. The calendar is sure to spark conversations about biodiversity and conservation, and help people celebrate the beauty of the natural world.

Lastly, the calendar is available to buy from zoo shops, including Jersey Zoo. When you buy from a zoo shop, you are supporting their conservation mission - in terms of providing education, funding and direct action for conservation projects around the globe.

The 2025 Wildlife Art Wall Calendar is a celebration of wildlife, and a way to bring beauty into your home while staying mindful of the environment. Whether you’re buying it for yourself or as a thoughtful, eco-friendly Christmas gift, this calendar is sure to spark joy and inspire a deeper connection to the natural world.

With its sustainable design, vibrant illustrations, and carefully chosen materials, the 2025 Wildlife Calendar stands as a symbol of what Wild Lines is all about: creating products that combine art, nature, and sustainability.
