Livingstone's fruit bat
A high quality, signed A4 print of my Livingstone's fruit bat pen drawing, ready to be framed and hung in the perfect spot in your home.
For every Endangered print sold, a tree will be planted in the Albertine Rift forests of Uganda as part of a wildlife habitat restoration project in partnership with the Jane Goodall Institute.
The Livingstone’s fruit bat, with its mouse ears and black fur, is one of the world’s handsomest bats. And one of the biggest: their wingspans can grow up to 1.4 metres!
Livingstone’s are amongst the most threatened species of bat - found only on Anjouan and Moheli in the Indian Ocean. A captive breeding programme has been on the go for 27 years - alongside projects identifying and mitigating threats - to ensure species survival should the worst happen and the native populations be wiped out.
This listing is for the print only; it does not include a mount or frame.
Your print will be protected by a sheet of greyboard and packaged in compostable film.
Dimensions: 21.0 x 29.7cm (8.27 x 11.69in).
