A high quality, signed A4 print of my bush dog drawing, ready to be framed and hung in the perfect spot in your home.
For every Endangered print sold, a tree will be planted in the Albertine Rift forests of Uganda as part of a wildlife habitat restoration project in partnership with the Jane Goodall Institute.
Found through South and Central America, the bush dog belongs to the canid family and is the only one left in its genus (Speothos). Few people have heard of this unusual, rarely-seen animal.
The species is threatened by habitat destruction and diseases, which spread quickly through populations since bush dogs are social and live in groups. Work is focused on better understanding the elusive mammal’s movements and ecological requirements - information that will be used to design regional conservation plans.
Fun fact: the bush dog produces a scent similar to vinegar, inspiring its local nickname - the vinegar dog.
This listing is for the print only; it does not include a mount or frame.
Your print will be protected by a sheet of greyboard and packaged in compostable film.
