The original, signed, A3 Asiatic lion pen drawing, ready to be framed and hung in the perfect spot in your home.
The Asiatic lion is now largely restricted to Gir National Park in India. Their populations haven't been moved from their natural habitat. Instead, we've encroached their range and closed them in from the outside. What does this mean for their future? Will we ever be able to live alongside lions again?
Despite their limited habitat, conservation efforts have led to a huge increase in Asiatic lion numbers over the last 100 years or so. A new project is looking at devising a GPS-tracking system, including a sensor grid with magnetic, movement and heat sensors. This would mean the lions could be monitored more closely, kept healthy and, presumably, kept a safe distance from any potential conflict with humans.
This listing is for the original drawing only; it does not include a mount or frame. If you would like it framed, please drop me an email and I can arrange this for an additional cost.
Your original will be posted in a cardboard postage tube, along with a certificate of authenticity.
